About Lindebjerg Design

Lindebjerg Design is a Danish, family-run furniture brand, founded in 2011, specialising in classic solid wood showcase cabinets. We sell handcrafted showcase cabinets to homes across Scandinavia and Europe, rooted in the Nordic design tradition.

Nordic roots. Furniture with continuity

A display cabinet from Lindebjerg Design is a piece of furniture with presence. A permanent part of the home, standing through changing seasons and generations of use. It helps define the room and create an atmosphere that reflects your personality. Whatever its size, the cabinet becomes a showcase for the things we cherish, and contributes to making the home more alive.

Each model is rooted in classic proportions and developed with an eye for both today’s needs and tomorrow’s homes. We work with European timber species such as pine and oak — selected for their durability and honest grain. The wood matures over time, giving the cabinet character and warmth.

Craftsmanship and production

Our production takes place in collaboration with a specialised carpentry workshop in Poland, where we develop furniture in close dialogue. The partnership is built on continuity and a high level of craft. Here, every detail is executed with precision from surface treatment to hinges and handles.

As a Danish family business, we place great value on lasting relationships with suppliers, partners and customers. This means closeness in the process and care at every stage. We produce handcrafted showcase cabinets according to principles where quality and longevity take precedence over speed and volume.

The family behind

Lindebjerg Design was founded in Denmark in 2011 by designer and owner Mona Henriksen, and is today run as a family-driven brand by mother and daughter. The company is at home in a Scandinavian design tradition, where form, function and a feel for the material go hand in hand.

Mona Henriksen, CEO and designer, has worked with form, materials and quality for many years. Her choice of timber species, proportions and function draws on a long tradition of Danish craftsmanship and on a conviction that beauty, function and durability belong naturally together.

‘A piece of furniture that is meant to last for many years requires consideration from the very first line. In the proportions, in the materials and in the way it is produced. That is where the design reflects its time.’

Annemarie Lindebjerg, creative director, works with what emerges once the furniture finds its home. Where Mona’s work ends at the finished piece of wood, Annemarie’s begins — in the meeting between the cabinet and the people who choose it.

‘My work begins where the showcase cabinets become part of everyday life. In the homes, in the images and stories people share. That is where the world of Lindebjerg Design becomes present, recognisable and alive.’
